What’s new with our Olympians? Delve into their fascinating everyday lives through social media. Here’s a recap of 10 favourite posts this week via our Canadian Olympic athletes on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

Week of June 24 – July 1st

1. Parading may have just become the new national sport

After the Parade of Champions and the WorldPride Parade, our Olympians are now participating in the Calgary Stampede… Check that cool retro fire truck!!! Sweet ride.

2. At that time, Vasek Pospisil had no idea he would win Wimbledon men’s doubles title.

Of course, the Canadian couldn’t have been in better company than with teammate Jack Sock!

3. The Montreal Alouettes get a good dose of support

The three Dufour-Lapointe sisters (JustineMaxime and Chloé) cheered on and brought good luck to the Alouettes as they won the game!

4. Congratulations to newly-wed Brad Martin!

The Olympian made sure he was in good Team Canada company to celebrate his big day.

Beyond pumped! Married the love of my life on Friday. Best day of my life!

5. Was Sébastien Toutant trying to hitch a ride?

Regardless, an entire crew was airborne to witness his prowess.

6. Riley McCormick’s good deed of the day

Riley stopped safely and saved a turtle on the road… unfortunately, his new friend turned out to be quite camera-shy.

7.  Gilmore Junio and Denny Morrison trade their blades for horses…

… and take part in style in the Calgary Stampede Parade!

Saddled up my horse and went riding in the city – all ready for tomorrow's parade! #yahoo

8. Anna Goodman is a natural when it comes to picking the best surroundings…

And these magnificent trees stand like sentinels by her side to prove it.

We hiked through a magical forest to a glacial lake today! #beautiful #trees #nature #skisisterhood #cheakamus
