Alex Bilodeau voted Air Canada Athlete of the Year
After nearly 200,000 fans voted, freestyle legend Alex Bilodeau was named 2014 Air Canada Athlete of the Year.
Bilodeau recaptured his Olympic championship form at Sochi 2014, winning the men’s moguls title just as he had at Vancouver 2010.
Fans voted on-line, and on Twitter used the hashtag #ACathlete to voice their support, for a chance to win a trip for two to anywhere in North America Air Canada flies. Also nominated were Olympic gold medallists Kaillie Humphries (bobsleigh) and Jennifer Jones (curling).
The 2013 winner of the fan vote was short track speed skater Charles Hamelin.
