Accreditation process for the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games now officially open
October 12, 2012TORONTO – The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) wishes to advise all Canadian media that the process for non-rights holding television and radio broadcasters (“ENR” media) to apply for accreditation for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games is now open.
ENR media are invited to complete the form at http://www.olympic.org/accred2014 and return it directly to the International Olympic Committee. All applications must be received no later than November 16, 2012.
Written and photographic (“E” & “EP”) press wishing to apply for accreditation should contact the Canadian Olympic Committee directly. Those Canadian media are invited to complete the form at http://olympic.ca/sochi-2014-press-organization-registration-form. Applications for written and photographic must be received no later than January 7 2013.
*** Please note that there are limited numbers available so an application is not a guarantee of accreditation.
The IOC will contact “ENR” applicants by email January 2013 to advise whether their application was successful.
