Teammate, patriot, fan and friend — Komak the moose is the Canadian Olympic Team’s official mascot.

Komak is a young moose exploring Canada’s beautiful landscape en route to the Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Games to support his team. He is a proud Canadian Olympic Team member and loves interacting with our athletes. Learn more about Komak below.

History was made in 2016 when Rio de Janeiro, Brazil hosted the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, marking the first time that a South American country welcomed the world to an Olympic Games.
