TORONTO - Today, the Canadian Olympic Committee released the following statement:

“Canada is the best country in the world so it is fitting that we have such an outstanding group of individuals representing our nation at the pinnacle of the world’s sport competition – the Olympic Games. On behalf of the Canadian Olympic Committee, I wish all Canadians a Happy Canada Day, and look forward to coming together this summer to celebrate our shared pride in our amazing Canadian athletes.
