“I am proud to represent my fellow athletes here at the Gold Medal Plates gala in Winnipeg” said Winnipeg native and 2012 Olympic bronze medallist Desiree Scott. “The money raised here tonight helps allow me and other Canadian Olympians achieve our Olympic dreams.”

“Events like this are helping us build the Canadian Olympic Foundation into Canada’s leading philanthropic organization funding sport and high performance athletes,” said Canadian Olympic Foundation Chair and Canadian Olympic Committee President Marcel Aubut. “We are very pleased to partner with Gold Medal Plates on another year of first-class events, benefiting our Olympic heroes.”
