Olympic and Christmas spirit shine at Santa Claus parade

London 2012 Canadian Olympic Team gymnasts Jason Burnett  and Anastasia Muntyanu played an important role Saturday as honorary grand marshals during the Etobicoke, ON Santa Claus parade, sharing Olympic values and community support.

“It is amazing to be honorary grand marshals at the Etobicoke Santa Claus Parade,” said 2008 Olympic Trampoline silver medallist Jason Burnett. “I have lived here for the last six years with my family and it’s a great community.”

“It’s great to be here and see all the kids getting excited for Christmas,” said London 2012 rhythmic gymnast Anastasia Muntyanu. “I’m very honoured to be a part of it.”
