TORONTO – Today, the Canadian Olympic Committee released the following statement following the announcement that Karen O’Neill, formerly CEO of Field Hockey Canada, has been named CEO of the Canadian Paralympic Committee (CPC).

“Congratulations to Karen on her important appointment to the Canadian Paralympic Committee. At a time when alignment within the Canadian sport system has never been more important, the Canadian Olympic Committee looks forward to working cooperatively with Karen and her team at the CPC to support our mutual stakeholders and sport partners. On behalf of the COC and the whole Olympic family, we wish her every success in her new position.”
