Puck Drops On Sale Of Sochi 2014 Preliminary Ice Hockey Packages

TORONTO- Hockey Fans carrying a torch for the Canadian Olympic Team can now purchase the Sochi 2014 “Follow My Team” Olympic Hotel and Ticket packages, available through CoSport, the exclusive provider of Olympic and Winter Olympic Games tickets in Canada, the Canadian Olympic Committee announced today. The packages include Ice Hockey tickets to scheduled Canadian games (men’s or women’s), 3 or 4-star hotel accommodation, a unique Olympic Park hospitality experience, on-site benefits and CoSport team support to help ensure a truly golden experience.

“We saw how much excitement Canadian hockey generated in Vancouver 2010 and once again, Canadian athletes will be the ones to watch on the ice in Sochi,” said Christopher Overholt, CEO of the Canadian Olympic Committee. “These ‘Follow My Team’ packages provide hard-core fans the perfect mix of close-up Olympic Ice Hockey action, comfortable accommodations and unique Olympic experiences.”

 “Follow My Team” packages are available exclusively through www.cosport.com. Prices for men’s preliminary games packages begin at US$2,742 (per person, based on double occupancy) and include three games and four nights’ accommodation. Prices for women’s preliminary games packages begin at $2,982 (per person, based on double occupancy) and include three games, and between five-to-seven nights’ accommodation, depending on the tournament schedule. Preliminary packages may also be paired with playoffs and finals packages for the complete Sochi 2014 Ice Hockey experience.

All packages are based on the tentative ice hockey schedule and in the event the schedule changes, CoSport will guarantee the necessary event tickets for package customers to follow the Canadian Ice Hockey teams through preliminary competition. Physical tickets and seat assignments will be available when the SOOC initiates this process in early January 2014.
