Tom Longboat

One of Canada’s athletic stars of the 20th century, Tom Longboat was an Aboriginal athlete from Ontario who won the Boston Marathon and competed for Canada at the Olympic Games. His story of perseverance, self-understanding and positivity through racism and hard times is a classic story of athletic heroism.
