Krystina-Alogbo_600Since earning MVP honours at the 2003 FINA World Junior Championships where Canada won gold, Krystina Alogbo has gone on to be one of the longest serving members of the national team. She made the move to the senior squad in 2005 and helped Canada win bronze at that year’s FINA World Championships. In 2009 she was part of two notable silver medal performances at the FINA Water Polo World League Super Final and at the FINA World Championships, being named MVP of the latter. In 2011 she was named female Water Polo Player of the Year by Swimming World magazine. Alogbo has also won back to back silver medals at the Pan American Games in 2007 and 2011.
