Biography:

Laplante_Myriam_2Myriam Laplante has dreamed of competing at the Olympic Games since she was first invited to participate in a national training camp. She was a member of the Canadian team that finished ninth at the 2013 Pan American Championships, defeating Costa Rica in the final classification match. She also helped her club team, Handball Champlain, to back-to-back undefeated seasons in 2013-14, winning consecutive national titles.
