Monika Eggens represented Canada for the first time at the 2007 FINA World Junior Championships. She made her senior debut in 2009 when she competed alongside her sister at the FINA Water Polo World League Super Final, helping Canada to a first ever silver medal.

Nicolas Constantin-Bicari helped Canada made history in winning gold at the 2010 Junior Pan American Championships. He had joined the senior national team a year earlier and helped the men to a best-ever eighth place finish at the 2009 FINA World Championships.
