A former college football star, Jesse Lumsden made his Olympic debut at Vancouver 2010 less than a year after first testing for the Canadian bobsleigh program.

At Sochi 2014 Philippe Marquis became the second member of his family to compete at the Olympic Winter Games, following in the footsteps of his older brother Vincent. He stood on three World Cup podiums in 2016-17, bringing his career total to 12, including a bronze medal at the PyeongChang 2018 test event.

Roz Groenewoud

Rosalind Groenewoud, or “Roz G”, took over from her late hero and role model Sarah Burke as a world leader in women’s ski halfpipe. After winning 2012 X Games gold, Groenewoud finished seventh in her event’s Olympic debut at Sochi 2014.
