Maxwell Lattimer

Athletes' Commission Chair

Maxwell Lattimer, OLY, is a two-time Olympian in rowing who represented Canada at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Over more than a decade with Canada’s Olympic Rowing Team, he competed internationally at the highest level, earning a Pan Am Games gold medal, five Canadian national titles, and multiple Concept2 rowing machine world records. He currently serves as Chair of the Canadian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission and as a member of the COC Governance and Ethics Committee. Maxwell has served on the Canadian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission since 2021.

Professionally, Maxwell works in consulting with EY’s People Advisory Services practice based in Vancouver, specializing in operating model design and organizational transformation. He brings a valuable combination of athlete leadership, governance experience, and advisory expertise to support thoughtful decision-making and meaningful athlete representation across the Canadian sport system.
