Mercedes Nicoll

Mercedes Nicoll is a 4-time Olympian in Snowboard Halfpipe, having represented Canada at the 2006, 2010, 2014, and 2018 Winter Games. She competed internationally from 1999 to 2018, earning 8 World Cup podiums and 5 National Championship titles.

Since retiring from competition, Mercedes has been a strong advocate for athlete representation. She helped establish the Canada Snowboard Athletes Council in 2017 and continues to work with AthletesCAN to ensure the athlete’s voice is heard at every level of the sport system. Mercedes is also the host and producer of the podcast DROPPING IN with Mercedes, and works on-snow with the Ride with an Olympian program at Whistler Blackcomb. She has served on the Canadian Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission since 2022.
