Biography

In his Olympic debut, Doug Csima was a member of the men’s eight crew that rowed to a silver medal at the London 2012 Games. Heading into the Games he was a two-time World Championships medallist having been a member of the silver-medal winning eight boat in 2009 and bronze in 2011.

In his second year at McMaster University, Csima helped the Marauders’ coxed four win a silver medal at the Ontario University Athletics rowing championships and that summer won three medals (two silvers and a bronze) at the Canada Games.

Csima graduated in 2007 with a degree in Nursing and in 2010 with a Master’s of Science from the University of Victoria, B.C.
