Vancouver 2010 10th Anniversary Celebration

Ten years ago, Canadians welcomed the world with glowing hearts and filled venues and streets with red and white to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic spirit. Vancouver 2010 touched lives, inspired communities, put a spotlight on the Canadian spirit, and in the face of impossible odds and compelling adversity, showed the world what it means to be truly Canadian.

On February 22, 2020 we will celebrate the 10-Year Anniversary of the Games with a can’t miss Fan Festival and Gala Dinner.


Come out to Jack Poole Plaza on February 22nd for the Vancouver 2010 Celebration Festival, open to all ages from 11AM-6PM. We hope you will join us in celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games! The day will be filled with activities including Olympic and Paralympic Athlete meet & greets, pin trading, sport demonstrations, main stage programming, face painting, and much more!

2010: Indigenous Public Art
Marvel over the work of more than 30 Indigenous artists, representing every province and territory of Canada, in this poster series highlighting public art created and installed in Winter Games venues across the Lower Mainland and Whistler as part of the four host First Nations Vancouver 2010 Aboriginal Art Program. ‘Reconciliation’ has become a buzzword but relationship-building and decolonizing work is just beginning…let these public art pieces provoke your curiosity, conversation, and learning through increased visibility of Indigenous culture.

Train like a Paralympian
Looking for fun, intense and challenging upper body workout? Celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Winter Games and Train like a Paralympian. A 10 station, 10 round, high-intensity Paralympic Hockey inspired workout that would even make elite athletes sweat!
