McMorris has “unfinished business” at Olympic Games

Team Canada fans adore snowboarder Mark McMorris and that love-in will surely carry on through Pyeongchang 2018.

In an interview with Lori Ewing of The Canadian Press on Tuesday, McMorris revealed that he had “unfinished business” at the Olympics after winning a bronze medal in Sochi 2014 while fighting through a broken rib.

McMorris is a superstar and darling of the action sports world, with two more recent X Games gold medals to his name this year. The Canadian however, appreciates the Olympic stage and the national imagination it captures from a broader audience.

“(Life) has definitely changed, in the positive sense that now most (Canadians) know me, it’s not just people who are into sports or action sports, everybody watched the Olympics and a lot of people know what I do,” McMorris told Ewing.

The talented 21-year old says he is keeping some tricks “on the down low,” which will be great news for Canada’s Olympic Team fans, who will follow him through this Winter Games cycle into Korea.
