PERSONAL
- Her father, Don Lever, was drafted third overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1972 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft and played eight seasons with Vancouver (1972-80), two seasons with the Calgary Flames (1980-82), three seasons with the New Jersey Devils (1982-85) and a quarter season with the Buffalo Sabres (1986-87); also coached for 14 seasons in the NHL with the Sabres (1987-89/1992-2002) and St. Louis Blues (2002-04)
- Her uncle, Rick Ley played in the NHL for two seasons with the Hartford Whalers (1979-81) and was a third-round draft pick of the Toronto Maple Leafs (1966) and also coached in the NHL for 13 seasons
