Michael J. Fox is an iconic Canadian actor, author, and advocate. In 1991, at the age of 29, he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. He could have let this debilitating disease stop him from leading a rich and full life, but Michael continues to bravely fight through this adversity. In 2000, he launched the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, which to date, has raised over $2 Billion in funding for Parkinson’s research programs.
