Kyle JonesKyle Jones is the veteran of the Canadian triathlon team, having won the Canadian junior title in 2003 before making his World Cup debut in 2005. Jones has just missed the podium twice at the Pan Am Games, finishing fourth at both Rio 2007 and Guadalajara 2011. He had a memorable season in 2012 when he made his Olympic debut in London and earned his first career World Cup victory in Edmonton. He also posted his career-best result on the World Triathlon Series, finishing sixth at the Grand Final in Auckland. For much of 2013 and 2014, Jones had to deal with a worsening vascular issue in his right leg, but he still won a silver medal at the 2013 World Cup stop in Edmonton and competed at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow before undergoing surgery in November 2014.
