Original 2010 Olympic Paintings Up For Auction
Own a Piece of the Cold FX Live Mural Experience
Each day during the 2010 Olympic Winter Games that a Canadian athlete won a medal, artist David Arrigo captured the moment forever in a painting. These 22 rare pieces of art, illustrating that day’s dramatic events, were all made inside Canada Olympic House in Vancouver. Together, this project was the Cold FX live mural experience.
Beginning April 26, this entire exhibit is up for auction at www.stores.shop.ebay.ca/Official-Vancouver-2010-Auction_2010. Managed by Game Day Auctions, this is a special high-end collectable of Canada’s “Home Games.” The auction will stay live for 10 days.
The paintings embody the spirit of the 2010 Games and represent a visual daily diary of Canada’s podium days last February. Arrigo has painted professionally for 20 years and has been featured at such sport events as the Olympic Games, the U.S. Open and the Super Bowl. (For more on the artist, visit www.darrigoart.com.)
All proceeds from the sale will support our next generation of athletes through the Canadian Olympic Foundation.
