DeLaet in the mix after tying course record at Canadian Open
Starting the day tied 45th after one round, Graham DeLaet managed to play his way up the RBC Canadian Open leaderboard on Friday.
The Weyburn, Saskatchewan native shot a 63, tying the Royal Montreal course record.
Keeping up with the Canadian was American and current co-leader Jim Furyk who also finished the second round with 63.
DeLaet will now head into the weekend only two shots behind the lead at 8-under.
Fellow Canadian Taylor Pendrith had a difficult day, falling down to even after two rounds. The 23-year-old amateur invite was a first round surprise with a third place finish on Thursday.
