On Saturday, Kim Boutin claimed Canada’s first medal at the Short Track World Cup in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Boutin finished the race in 1:28.974, behind winner Suzanne Schulting of the Netherlands (1:28.887), and ahead of bronze medallist Ah Rum Noh of South Korea (1:29.128).
Competition continues through Sunday in Kazakhstan.
