Eli Bouchard

Biography

Eli Bouchard is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026, just two years after he was a double medallist at the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games. At 16 years old, he won gold in big air and silver in slopestyle.

Two months later, he won big air bronze at the 2024 FIS Junior World Championships, where he also finished fifth in slopestyle. It was his second straight appearance at the junior worlds.

Bouchard made his FIS World Cup debut in December 2022 at a big air event in Edmonton’s Commonwealth Stadium two days before his 15th birthday. He earned his first FIS World Cup podium and victory in February 2025 when he won the big air event in Aspen. He landed a “triple moose flip” in that victory, a trick that he invented, named, and is the only person to have attempted.

Bouchard became a YouTube sensation at just eight years old when he became the youngest known snowboarder to land a double backflip. At 10 years old, he was the youngest athlete to cleanly land a frontside 1080 double cork.

He was a double gold medallist in slopestyle and big air at the 2023 Canada Winter Games.
