Now retired, Emily Brydon is a three-time Olympian who competed for Canada at Salt Lake City 2002, Turin 2006 and Vancouver 2010. She posted her best result in Turin, finishing ninth in the super-G.
At the 2017 FIS World Championships, Erik Guay was crowned world champion in the super-G and followed up with a silver medal in the downhill. He had been downhill world champion in 2011.
A two-time Olympian, Brigitte Acton has skiing in her blood, thanks to her parents who were both members of the Canadian Alpine Ski Team. Her mother Diane Pratte competed at the Sapporo 1972 Winter Games and was one of her first coaches along with her father Gordon.
