Three-time Olympic medalist swimmer Tom Ponting won all of his medals in the butterfly leg of the 4x100m medley relay at three different Olympic Games. He was the only Canadian swimmer to win three Olympic medals in three different Olympic Games.
A three-time Olympic bronze medalist, Curtis Myden was one of Canada’s best swimmers in the 1990s. After winning two individual medley medals at Atlanta 1996, he won Canada’s only medal in the pool at Sydney 2000.
Marianne Limpert swam for Canada in three consecutive Olympic Games, beginning in 1992. She recorded top eight finishes in nine events, including a silver medal in the 200m individual medley at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
