Canada’s Horace “Lefty” Gwynne won boxing’s 54kg bantamweight division at the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. It was the last boxing Olympic gold for a Canadian until Seoul 1988 when Lennox Lewis became the super heavyweight champion.
