Davis’ passion for representing Canada on the international stage stems from being a part of the Canadian contingent in the 2007 Youth World Championships held in his hometown of Kingston, Ontario.

Sarah Douglas started sailing as a seven-year-old in Barbados and competed at her first world championships in the Optimist class when she was 10. She returned to Canada in 2008 to attend high school and moved into the Laser Radial class, quickly becoming one of the top youth sailors in the country.

Alex Cox started sailing as a child through a learn-to-sail program in Thunder Bay. Around 10 years old, he began racing in the local Lightning fleet with his father. Cox has not only been involved in sailing in a racing capacity, but also worked as a CANSail instructor for several years, sharing his passion for the sport with new sailors.

Nikka Stoger has been sailing since she was 15 years old and hasn’t put the tiller down since. She is a CANSail Certified Sailing Instructor and a member of Temple Reef Sailing Club and the Thunder Bay Yacht Club.
