Accreditation

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) allocates a limited number of accreditation positions to the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) for distribution to Canadian media. The COC determines the distribution based on an organization’s national scope in terms of coverage, readership/circulation, previous history in attending and covering Games, representation and linguistic equity.

Please note that the accreditation process for non-rights holding outlets (radio/television organizations) has changed from previous Games and is now managed by the IOC in consultation with NOCs.

Milano Cortina 2026

The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is accepting expressions of interest for press accreditation to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 until January 13, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. More information on this process can be found here.

Please note that the accreditation process for non-rights holding outlets (radio/television organizations) has changed from previous Games. The link to apply for ENR accreditation and the detailed process can be found here. ENR applications must be received by November 4, 2024.
