The International Olympic Committee (IOC) allocates a limited number of accreditation positions to the Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) for distribution to Canadian media. the COC determines the distribution based on organization's national scope in coverage, readership/circulation, previous history in attending and covering Games, geographical representation and linguistic equity.

Tokyo 2020

The COC is now accepting expressions of interest from Canadian media accreditation to the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. Media are asked to submit one expression of interest per organization.

The deadline to submit the information is November 2, 2018. Late submissions will not be considered.

Lima 2019

The Lima 2019 accreditation process will be communicated as a media advisory through our distribution list once finalized. Please subscribe if you have not done so already.

Buenos Aires 2018

The COC is no longer accepting expressions of interest for media accreditation to the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. The deadline to submit was May 24, 2018.
