TEAM CANADA INSIGHTS:
MIXED DOUBLES CURLING
John Morris is looking to capture a record-setting third curling gold medal at his third Olympic Games. He is currently one of only six individuals to have two Olympic curling gold medals. Rachel Homan who is competing in her second straight Olympic Games is looking to secure her first Olympic medal.
HOCKEY
Team Canada now holds a 14-0 record against Switzerland in women’s Olympic hockey that started in 1997. Over that time span, the Canadian team has only let up three goals against.
FIGURE SKATING
Canada will compete in the men’s short program, ice dance rhythm, and pairs short program on February 4 (Day 0). Canada is looking for its third consecutive Olympic medal in the team event (Sochi 2014 – silver, PyeongChang 2018 – gold).
FREESTYLE SKIING
Chloé Dufour-Lapointe has made history as the first female Canadian freestyle skier to compete in four Olympic Winter Games.

Currently 1 out of the 414 members of the Team Canada delegation in Beijing are in COVID-19 protocols that impact their ability to fulfill their role at Games.
