Canadian Olympic Foundation announces appointment of Vice-Chair and recognizes retirement of long-serving Directors
TORONTO (September 29, 2026) – The Canadian Olympic Foundation (COF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Glass OLY as Vice-Chair of the COF Board of Directors. Glass has served on the Board since 2019 and has played a valuable role in advancing the COF’s mission and long-term growth.
Glass is currently a partner at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, where he advises leading investment dealers and senior issuers on public financings and securities regulatory matters.
From 1981 to 1989, Glass was a member of the Canadian Athletics Team, representing Canada on 22 occasions, including the Commonwealth Games, Pan-American Games, World Indoor Games, World Student Games and the Los Angeles 1984 Olympic Games. He has been inducted into the Western University Sports Hall of Fame and the London Sports Hall of Fame.
“Jeff’s appointment as Vice-Chair reflects both his commitment to the COF and the value of athlete perspectives in leadership,“ said Jacqueline Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Olympic Foundation and Chief Brand and Commercial Officer of the Canadian Olympic Committee. “Jeff’s experience, insight, and passion for sport will help strengthen our work in support of Team Canada athletes.”
