Canadian Olympic Foundation launches second 50/50 campaign ahead of Beijing 2022

TORONTO (January 24, 2022) – On Monday, the Canadian Olympic Foundation (Foundation) announced the launch of the Team Canada 50/50 for the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games following the success of the inaugural Tokyo edition.

The ‘Team Canada 50/50’ will once again add to the excitement of the Games by inviting Canadians to win big while supporting Team Canada athletes on their path to the podium. New this year is the addition of the Team Canada Sweepstakes that, with the 50/50, ensures every Canadian has the opportunity to win alongside Team Canada while supporting local sport.

The fun officially starts on January 24 at 11:00 am in your local time zone. Through every purchase of a Team Canada 50/50 ticket, participants will automatically be entered into their provincial jackpot and every sweepstakes ticket offers a chance to win a cash prize of $5,000.

Net proceeds from each provincial raffle will be invested directly into the respective provincial sport system, helping the Foundation make a tangible investment in people, infrastructure and science that help support Canadian athletes fulfill their Olympic dreams.

Tickets start at $10 for the Team Canada 50/50 and $5 for the Team Canada Sweepstakes and can be purchased directly at teamcanada5050.ca
