COC accepting expressions of interest for Milano Cortina 2026 press accreditation until January 13, 2025
Further details on the ENR process will be shared on October 11, 2024
TORONTO (October 9, 2024) — The Canadian Olympic Committee (COC) is accepting expressions of interest for press accreditation to the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 until January 13, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
Canadian media are asked to complete and submit the form found here. Please submit one expression of interest form per organization.
Due to the limited quota of accreditations allocated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), selection criteria will be applied. The COC will consider an organization’s national scope in terms of coverage, readership/circulation, previous history in attending and covering Games, representation and linguistic equity.
Media that have been granted press accreditation will be contacted in February 2025.
Journalist (E): Journalist, editor, photographic editor, employed or contracted by an international or national news agency, a general daily newspaper, a sports newspaper, magazine or internet site, a digital journalist, or freelance journalist under contract.
Photographer (EP): Photographer, meeting the same criteria as those defined by category “E”.
Non-Rights Holding Media (ENR):
For any non-rights holding radio and/or television organizations (ENR) within Canada that may be interested in covering the news aspect for Milano Cortina 2026, a separate process will apply. Further details on the ENR process will be shared on October 11, 2024.
