Laurent Dubreuil to hold media availability

BEIJING (February 18, 2022) – Laurent Dubreuil will hold a media availability following his silver medal performance in the men’s 1000m long track speed skating event.

Dubreuil’s silver is the fifth Olympic medal won by a Canadian in the men’s 1000m. The last was Denny Morrison‘s silver at Sochi 2014, which came 30 years after Gaétan Boucher won gold at Sarajevo 1984. Boucher also won a silver at Lake Placid 1980, which came almost five decades after Willy Logan‘s bronze at Lake Placid 1932.
