Media Advisory: Canada Olympic House to officially open
Wednesday, August 3, 2016 — RIO DE JANEIRO — On August 4, 2016, Team Canada is opening its Rio 2016 Canada Olympic House (COH), a home away from home for Canadian athletes, and their families and friends, at a ribbon-cutting event in the heart of Ipanema district of Rio de Janeiro.
Canadian Olympic Committee representatives, Team Canada Chef de mission, Curt Harnett and government representatives will be attending.
Media are invited for interview and photo opportunities.
Media are also invited to attend the Team Canada Media Reception at COH from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. BRT.
