DYLAN ARMSTRONG AWARDED 2010 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BRONZE MEDAL
TORONTO – Today, the Canadian Olympic Committee issued the following statement of congratulations to two-time Olympian Dylan Armstrong after he was awarded the 2010 IAAF World Indoor Championships bronze medal in the wake of a failed anti-doping test for the original third place winner.
“Canada is so proud of Dylan for winning this bronze medal. While it may have come late, Dylan has helped prove that Canada is indeed a force to be reckoned with in the shot put arena. On behalf of everyone at the COC, we congratulate Dylan and Athletics Canada on this fantastic achievement.”
