Abby Dent

Biography

• Won gold in the women’s eight and silver in the women’s pair at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games
• Represented Canada at the World Rowing U23 Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023; those appearances were highlighted by a fifth-place finish in the women’s four in 2023  
• Competed in single sculls at the 2019 World Junior Rowing Championships where she advanced to the A final
• Made her World Rowing Cup debut in 2023; placed fourth in the B final of the women’s four in Lucerne
• Competes collegiately for the University of Michigan; as a junior in 2023 was named the Big10 Rower of the Year as the Wolverines won the conference title for the second time in her tenure
• Won double sculls gold at the 2018 Royal Canadian Henley Regatta
