• First qualified for the senior national team in 2018
• Won back-to-back national titles in the K-1 200m in 2017 and 2018
• Finished 4th in K-1 200m at the 2018 Pan American Championships
• Made his ICF World Championship debut in 2018, finishing third in the B final (12th overall) in the K-1 200m
