Dylan Marineau
Biography
Dylan Marineau is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
Marineau competed at the FIS World Championships in 2023 and 2025. He reached the men’s ski halfpipe final in 2025, finishing eighth.
Marineau made his FIS World Cup debut in December 2018. He posted his career best World Cup result in February 2023 when he finished fifth in Mammoth Mountain. As of January 2026, he has seven career top 10 finishes, including two in the 2025-26 season.
Marineau began competing in Nor-Am Cup slopestyle events in 2016. His first Nor-Am Cup victory came in halfpipe in February 2020.
A Little More About Dylan
Getting into the Sport: Started skiing at age 3 and entered his first freestyle competitions in slopestyle and moguls at age 11… Biggest role model is his father, Dennis Marineau, who competed for Canada in bobsleigh at Albertville 1992… Has been chasing the Olympic dream since hearing his father’s stories from the Games; also inspired by Alex Bilodeau’s gold medal at Vancouver 2010… Twin brother, Evan, recently retired from the national ski halfpipe team… Outside Interests: Enjoys biking, surfing, DJing, and a good Steven King book… Builds bike trails at Fernie Alpine Resort during the summer but would like to become a helicopter pilot after skiing… Odds and Ends: Collects patches from the places he visits and sews them onto his Calgary Flames jersey… Favourite quote: “This is what I call a target rich environment” – Maverick, Top Gun…
