Jay-Deakin_600Jay Deakin has a wealth of international experience, having competed at five Lightning World Championships (1999, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2009) and two Soling World Championships (2007, 2009). In 2009 his Lightning skipper was Pan Am Games teammate Jamie Allan. He lists his seventh place finish at the 2003 World Championships as a career highlight.
