Ali ten Hove teamed up with Mariah Millen to race the 49er FX in the summer of 2016. Ten Hove had previously competed in the 420 and 470 classes with Allie Surette, but they came up short of qualifying for Rio 2016.
Mariah Millen was born and raised on Toronto Island, giving her an early introduction to sailing. She spent several years competing in the Optimist class before progressing to junior racing in the 420 and 29er classes.
Max Flinn represented Canada at the 2012 ISAF Youth Sailing World Championships in Dublin, Ireland, finishing 19th in the 420 class
Robert Davis is a ten-year veteran of the Canadian Sailing Team and has competed in the Laser class since 2006. Davis’ passion for representing Canada on the international stage stems from being a part of the Canadian contingent in the 2007 Youth World Championships held in his hometown of Kingston, Ontario.
Allie Surrette began sailing in the Optimist, a popular youth boat, in the RNSYS and then SMSC junior sailing programs.
