• Competed at the 2017 Henley Royal Regatta with the Calgary Rowing Club
• Was a member of the victorious senior women’s eight at the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in 2016 just four months after breaking her leg and undergoing surgery
• Sustained a severe traumatic brain injury in a luge accident when she was younger that led to cerebellar atrophy which causes poor balance, an obstacle she consistently struggles with in rowing


Getting into the Sport: Started rowing in 2016 (at age 26) at Calgary Rowing Club after her physiotherapist suggested she give it a try… Outside Interests: Enjoys running, reading and gardening… Has an engineering degree from the University of Alberta and now studies neuroscience at the University of British Columbia… Has worked as an MRI research assistant… Odds and Ends: Favourite sports team is the Calgary Flames… Inspired by Catriona Le May Doan being the first Canadian Olympian to successfully defend an individual Olympic gold medal…
