Biography

Paige Crozon has been key to Canada’s international success in 3×3 basketball since joining the national team in 2019. Among the major highlights are back-to-back FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series titles in 2022 and 2023, a silver medal at the 2022 FIBA 3×3 World Cup, and qualifying Canada for Paris 2024.

As one of the top-ranked players in the world, Crozon helped Canada earn its first ever Olympic berth in 3×3 basketball as the team finished third at the FIBA 3×3 Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Hungary in mid-May 2024.

In 2023, Crozon was part of four wins on the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series, including stops at home in Edmonton, Quebec City, and Montreal, before the Canadian team claimed their second straight Series Final crown in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She was also part of a bronze medal at the 2023 FIBA AmeriCup.

That followed a hugely successful 2022 season in which Crozon was part of the Canadian women’s team that won silver in their first ever appearance at the FIBA 3×3 World Cup, won gold at the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup, and in between earned three victories on the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series as well as at the Series Final in Constanta, Romania.

In her debut season on the FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series in 2019, Crozon helped Canada to four consecutive wins, including at the Series Final in Edmonton. Crozon and Canada finished second overall on the circuit in 2021.

Crozon’s first international 3×3 experience was at the 2011 FIBA 3×3 U18 World Championships. At that time, she was also playing for Canada internationally in five-on-five, including at the Guadalajara 2011 Pan Am Games where she was the youngest member of the women’s basketball team. As a junior, she represented Canada at the 2010 FIBA U17 World Championships and 2011 FIBA U19 World Championships. She also competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Crozon played collegiately at the University of Utah, serving as team captain in her final two seasons. She was an All-PAC 12 honourable mention as a junior in 2016, leading the Utes to the third round of the WNIT. During her senior year she represented Canada at the 2017 World University Games, leading the team in scoring.
