Rose Laliberté-Roy
Biography
Rose Laliberté-Roy is set to make her Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.
Laliberté-Roy achieved a career highlight when she recorded a top 20 result in the 500m at her first ISU World Single Distances Championships in 2025. Laliberté-Roy made her ISU World Cup debut in November 2022.
Laliberté-Roy won her first international medal, bronze, as a member of the team sprint at the 2023 ISU Four Continents Championships. She had top 10 finishes in the 500m at that competition in 2023 and 2024.
A Little More About Rose
Getting into the Sport: Began speed skating at age 6, following her older brothers… Started in short track before switching to long track (which she enjoys much more) when the Centre de glaces opened in Quebec City… Was coached by Laurent Dubreuil when she was 7 and then again as a teenager… Outside Interests: Earned a Bachelor of Communications at the Laval University… Cooking is a favourite pastime to clear her head and give her pleasure… Odds and Ends: Collects cups from each World Cup stop…
