Victor Primeau

Biography

Victor Primeau is set to make his Olympic debut at Milano Cortina 2026.

The aerials specialist won gold at the 2022 FIS Junior World Championships. At the 2023 World Juniors, he won bronze in the mixed team event with Charlie Fontaine and Anthony Noel and placed sixth individually.

He made his first appearance at the senior FIS World Championships in 2025, advancing to the first round of the final and finishing eighth.

Primeau made his FIS World Cup debut at the season opening stop for 2021-22. He has four career top 10 finishes in World Cup events, with a career best result of eighth achieved in February 2025 in Deer Valley and January 2026 in Lake Placid.

Primeau finished second in the overall Nor-Am Cup standings for aerials in 2021-22 and 2022-23. His five Nor-Am Cup victories were earned across those two seasons.

He topped the European Cup standings in 2022-23. In March 2024, he earned his first two European Cup victories.

Getting into the Sport: Started freestyle skiing at age 7 alongside his two best friends from school, Miha Fontaine and Alexandre Duchaine, who are now also members of the national team… Has wanted to be an Olympian since watching Alex Bilodeau win gold at Vancouver 2010… Younger brother, Elliot, is a member of Canada’s Next Gen team in aerials… Outside Interests: Enjoys surfing and mountain biking… Odds and Ends: Favourite motto: “I can’t cry about having a lot on my plate when the goal was to eat”…
