Canada’s Olympic Broadcast Media Consortium announced Tuesday additional broadcast talent for its broadcast of the London 2012 Olympic Games. Olympians Donovan Bailey, Curt Harnett, and Kara Lang will join the talent pool, analyzing and calling the Games on the English-language Consortium platforms. In total, the Consortium now has 23 Olympic medallists on its London 2012 broadcast team.

Among sprinter Donovan Bailey’s athletic accomplishments are two Olympic medals, a World Championship, eight Canadian championships and two World Records.

Curt Harnett, a former track cycling sprint specialist held the World Record in the 750m Match Sprint event for 11 years. Throughout his career he represented Canada at four Olympic Games, bringing home two bronze medals and one silver in the process.

At 15, Kara Lang was the youngest female to ever play a game with the Canadian women’s soccer team. She played for the Canadian national team, competing in the 2007 World Cup in China and the 2008 Beijing Olympics, before retiring in 2010
