Olympians set to represent Canada in style

Olympians set to represent Canada in style

By Steve Boudreau

All of Canada was waiting with anticipation as HBC finally unveiled its Sochi 2014 Olympic uniforms on Wednesday in Toronto. Here’s a look at how the event unfolded through social media and our very stylish Olympians.

Of course, Olympic.ca was there to catch every moment.

The room was filled with media eager to catch a glimpse of the goods.

Backstage was buzzing as well.

2pm. Enough with the teasing, it’s finally time for the big unveiling. Leading the group of Olympians is Assistant Chef de Mission Jean-Luc Brassard.

Some of our athletes experienced unexpected side effects from the new HBC gear letting out their creative side.

Time to pack for Sochi!

The #HBCOlympics team uniforms have been unveiled. Here’s what the athletes will pack for #Sochi2014 with @TheHudsonsBayCo.

2016 Rio

History will be made in 2016 when Rio de Janeiro, Brazil hosts the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, marking the first time that a South American country will welcome the world to an Olympic Games. It is also just the third time that the Games will be held in the southern hemisphere, following Melbourne 1956 and Sydney 2000.
