HEATHER MOYSE TO SERVE AS ROLE MODEL AT NANJING 2014 YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES

TORONTO – Today, the Canadian Olympic Committee issued the following statement of congratulations to three–time Olympian and two-time Olympic medallist, Heather Moyse for being selected as an athlete role model to partake in the Culture and Education Program at the Nanjing 2014 Youth Olympic Games.  Heather was nominated by the International Rugby Board.

“Heather has displayed true Canadian grit and determination across all the sports she plays as well as in all her Olympic endeavors from the moment she came on to the scene. It is these great qualities that make her a perfect candidate for this culture and education leadership role. My congratulations to Heather on this outstanding achievement.”
